Most commissions take 8–14 weeks from final design approval. Memory quilts using heirloom fabrics typically run on the longer end because of the care required to work with delicate materials.

Can you make a quilt from my family's clothing?

Yes. Memory quilts made from clothing — flannel shirts, baby onesies, wedding dresses — are one of our most-requested commissions. We'll guide you through what to send and how much fabric is needed.

Do you ship outside Sonoma County?

Yes. We ship finished quilts anywhere in the US and offer hand-delivery within Sonoma, Marin, and Napa counties.

What does a custom quilt cost?

Memory quilts start at $850, modern artisan quilts at $980, and custom heirlooms at $1,200. Final pricing depends on size, complexity, and the materials you'd like incorporated.

For more than two decades, Pauline Pellini has been hand-stitching quilts in her sun-warmed Sebastopol studio — pulling fabric from a lifetime collection of patterns, vintage prints, and family keepsakes.

We start with a conversation — in person, over the phone, or video. You bring the story, the fabrics, the people who matter. I listen.

Fabric & Design

Together we choose the pattern, palette, and any heirloom fabrics you want stitched in. You'll see a layout sketch before a single cut is made.

Handcrafted Stitching

Pieced, basted, and quilted by hand in my Sebastopol studio. Every seam, every binding — no factory shortcuts, no rushed corners.

Finished Heirloom

Hand-delivered or carefully packed and shipped, with a stitched label that names the maker and the year — so it carries forward.
